Southern Maine's Rautenberg Nabs Player of the Week Award
Player of the Week:
Dan Rautenberg-Southern Maine
Sophomore, Forward, Cape Elizabeth, Maine/Boston
Bulldogs
The sophomore forward led the Huskies to a pair of victories on
the final weekend of the regular season with a goal and four
assists. Rautenberg had the Huskies' first goal and two assists in
a 4-1 win over Wesleyan, and assisted on both Huskies goals in a
2-1 overtime win over Trinity. With the five points,
Rautenberg moved into the top spot on the Huskies scoring list.
Goalie of the Week:
Mason St. Hilaire-Southern Maine
Sophomore, Saco, Maine/Boston Bulldogs
St. Hilaire backstopped the Huskies to a pair of final weekend
victories over Wesleyan and Trinity allowing two goals and making
46 saves. He made 19 saves on 20 shots in a 4-1 win over
Wesleyan University. He came back the next afternoon to stop
27 of 28 shots in a 2-1 overtime win over Trinity.
Rookie of the Week:
Kyle Thomas-Norwich
Freshman, Forward, Waltham, Mass./South Shore Kings

Thomas had two goals in Norwich's 6-1 victory at Connecticut
College on Friday night, and then added two goals and an assist in
the Cadets' 7-1 win at Tufts on Saturday afternoon.
Honor Roll:
Ryan Donovan-UMass Boston
Senior, Goalie, Rexford, N.Y./Hartford Wolf Pack

The senior posted a 2.12 goals against average in 85 minutes of
action, while making 33 saves for a .917 save percentage.
Donovan stopped six of eight shots in the first period of play at
Hamilton College in his first action since being out with a
concussion the weekend before. He came back the following day
to allow just one goal in 65 minutes at nationally-ranked #13
Amherst College and made 27 saves to earn the tie.
Matt Atsoff-UMass Boston
Junior, Forward, Macomb, Mich./Mahoning Valley Phantoms

In two games, the forward tallied three points on a goal and two
assists. The junior had a hand in all three of the Beacons'
goals over the week. Atsoff assisted on both of UMass
Boston's goals at Hamilton College on February 19 and netted the
Beacons' goal at nationally-ranked #13 Amherst College, which stood
as the game-tying score on February 20.
Jake Moscatel-University of New England
Freshman, Forward, Lexington, Mass./Junior Bruins
Moscatel helped lead the Nor'easters to their first home win by
scoring one goal and assisting on another in the Nor'easters' 6-1
win over Wesleyan on Saturday. The night before, he had UNE's lone
tally in a 3-1 setback to Trinity.
