Hockey Humanitarian Award Foundation Seeks Nominations
CENTERVILLE, Mass. -- The Hockey Humanitarian Award Foundation invites Eastern College Athletic Conference hockey-playing institutions to nominate a student-athlete -- man or woman -- currently on a team’s roster whose off-ice volunteer activities and leadership are worthy of recognition.
Nominations are due by Friday, Dec. 16. The Foundation’s committee will review each candidate’s credentials, then narrow the submissions to a group of finalists to be announced in January. One or more members of the Foundation will personally interview those finalists. This season, we will be able to make charitable contributions to organizations as directed by each finalist.
The recipient of the BNY Mellon Wealth Management Hockey Humanitarian Award will be presented on April 6, 2012, during the Friday night ceremonies at the NCAA Division I Frozen Four, in Tampa, Fla.
Please provide detailed information about your nominee. Click here for the nomination form.
The BNY Mellon Wealth Management Hockey Humanitarian Award is awarded annually to college hockey’s finest citizen and seeks to recognize college hockey players, Division I or Division III, male or female, who give back to their community in the true humanitarian spirit.
