ECAC Men's East Weekly Notebook


Travis Daniel, University of Massachusetts Boston
(Senior; Forward - North Brunswick, N.J./New Jersey Rockets)

Daniel led UMass Boston to a 2-0 weekend with a team-high five points (1 goal and 4 assists). The senior captain recorded two assists Friday night, including an assist on the game-winning goal, in UMass Boston’s 3-2 win over Southern Maine. Saturday he suited up for the 100th time in a UMass Boston uniform and recorded a pair of assists to go along with his program-record tying 11th career game-winning goal in a 4-3 win over UNE. 



Nick Dries, Saint Anselm College
(Senior; Goaltender - Commerce Township, Mich./Bay State Breakers)

Dries stopped 62 of 63 shots he faced for a .984 save percentage and 0.50 goals against average, en route to leading the Hawks to a 2-0-0 week. Dries stopped all 35 shots he faced against Southern New Hampshire University on Tuesday before making 27 saves against New England College on Friday. 



Stephen Inman, St. Michael’s College
(Freshman; Defenseman - Coventry, R.I./Odessa Jackalopes)

Inman had a goal and two assists during a 2-1 week. In a 4-1 win over Franklin Pierce on Tuesday, Inman had a goal and an assist, including lending a hand on a power-play goal that gave his team the lead for good 13:51 into the contest. Inman added a power-play marker 17:43 into the second. During a 3-2 win at Skidmore on Friday, he assisted the power-play game-winner 23 seconds into overtime for the Purple Knights’ first win at Skidmore in 11 years. 



Kevin Altidor, St. Michael’s College
(Sophomore; Forward - Montreal, Que./Millbrook School)

Altidor scored three goals, including two game-winners, during a 2-1 week. In a 4-1 win over Franklin Pierce on Tuesday, Altidor scored 14:06 into the second period to produce a 2-0 edge. He then scored on a power play 23 seconds into overtime during a 3-2 win on Friday at Skidmore, the Purple Knights’ first victory on the road against the Thoroughbreds since 2003. Altidor then scored the first goal 6:54 into the first period of a 4-1 loss at Castleton State on Saturday.


Jamie Murray, Babson College
(Sophomore; Goaltender - Scituate, Mass./South Shore Kings)

Murray was tremendous in Babson’s two victories over the weekend, stopping 50 of 51 shots (.980 save percentage) and posting a 0.50 goals against average. He made 23 saves in Friday’s 2-1 overtime win over the University of New England and then stopped all 27 shots to earn his fourth shutout of the season in Saturday’s 3-0 triumph over Southern Maine..


Bryan Sullivan, Saint Anselm College
(Sophomore; Forward - Burlington, Mass../The Governor’s Academy)

Sullivan tallied three points to help the Hawks to a 2-0-0 week. Sullivan assisted on the game-winning goal in a 2-0 win against Southern New Hampshire University on Tuesday before potting a pair of scores in a 5-1 victory against New England College on Friday.
