Player of the Week
Christopher Bower - Hobart College
Junior, Forward - Chevy Chase, Md./Falcons

Bower (pictured) tallied two goals and an assist in a 1-0-1 opening weekend for the Statesmen. He scored the first two goals of the night, including the game-winner, in an eventual 9-1 win over Buffalo State. Bower also assisted on Hobart's sixth goal.

Goalie of the Week
Nick Broadwater
- Hobart College
Freshman - Portland, Maine/Jr. Bruins

Broadwater collected 47 saves in his first weekend of collegiate competition. He recorded 20 saves in a 2-2 tie at Buffalo State on Friday, and picked up 27 stops in Hobart's 9-1 win over the Bengals the next night. For the weekend, he posted a .940 save percentage, and a 1.45 goals against average.

Rookie of the Week
Chris Cannizzaro - Hobart College
Forward - Cazenovia, N.Y/Syracuse Stars

Cannizzaro totaled two goals and a helper in his first weekend of collegiate competition. On Friday at Buffalo State, he scored the game-tying goal with 48 seconds left in regulation to force overtime. The next night, he scored the first tally of a six-goal third period, and added an assist.

Honor Roll

Marlon Gardner - Neumann University
Sophomore, Forward - Eagle Lake, Ontario/Dryden Ice Dogs

Gardner scored three goals as Neumann opened the 2009-10 season with two games against Geneseo over the weekend. Gardner scored two goals Friday night, one on the power play, as the Knights won 6-2. On Saturday, he scored the winning goal on the power play.

David Gervais - Neumann University
Freshman, Forward - Nepean, Ontario/Nepean Raiders 

Gervais scored his first collegiate goal on Friday night as the Knights defeated Geneseo 6-2.

Casey Tuttle - Elmira College
Senior, Goalie - Chelsea, Maine/Portland Junior Pirates 

Tuttle recorded 57 saves in a 1-1 weekend against Oswego. The senior registered 32 saves in a 7-2 loss on Friday and 43 saves in a 2-1 win on Saturday.
